Daniel Clarke is a Trinbagonian Fashion Designer and Creative Director of the brand Fluorescent Black. The 23-year-old designer from Black Rock, Tobago recently graduated as the Student Of The Year from the University Of Trinidad & Tobago where he completed their Fashion Degree program His collection “Apathy” exudes a modern, versatile and edgy aesthetic as well as a feeling of empowerment and activism in the form of bold words branded ‘Inviolable’ ‘Brave’ and ‘Black’. His dedication to his craft earned him a scholarship and notes of praise from fashion icons like Sandra Carr (UTT Fashion Degree Program Leader), Meiling (acclaimed Trinidadian Fashion Designer) and Christopher Nathan (Coco Velvet Fashion Model Management). Clarke’s journey is just getting started and promises to be one that solidifies himself as a force to be reckoned with in the global fashion industry.
