Charlotte Tanis is a passionate professional in the Caribbean fashion industry, with 22 years of experience. With a background in Architecture from Quisqueya University, she was awarded a scholarship for Spain where she studied courses in Haute Couture and Fashion Design at ESDI (Escuela de Diseño) in Barcelona Sabadell. Back home, in Haiti, she understands the need to revitalize Charlotte Couture, a workshop she operates alone. She decided to turn it into an innovative company YOUR SIZE.
This young sewing workshop tailors to a range of trendy, original and fun clothes for dynamic men and women. Four (4) years later, she launched the production of serial uniform and set up a network of small workshops under which she subcontracts some businesses.
Charlotte Tanis was recently selected by the WEAmericas Programme (Women Entrepreneurship in the Americas) to train for women entrepreneurs and managers of small businesses. The goal of the programme is to promote women entrepreneurs and to give them management tools to develop their businesses a little more and access credit.
